WOW! It's been a long time since...

It's been a while since I posted any of my knitting. So, here's a bunch of recent customs.

I know I have some more but can't find where I saved them right now.

I love those hats! So cute and soft and warm! I still need to make a bunch of L & R before it starts getting cold.

Rainbow Skullies

Here's a custom I did for an awesome Mama! She wanted a black rainbow with the jolly roger on the bum. She doesn't need them until late fall/winter, so I made them with plenty of growing room. I love how the colors just POP with the black.
I used lighter shades of the rainbow for that purpose. I love it! Only thing I didn't like was weaving in the millions of yarn ends, but the results are just STUNNING! I may have to make Rachel a pair...someday.

I have a bunch of customs lined up, so I'll be busy for a while.

Little Longies

I finished a couple Longies - size smalls. First is Here Kitty colorway from Elliebelly on think and thirsty ORGANIC Merino wool. I had to frog it several times because I didn't like how it was knitting up and decided to change needle sizes. This particular pair is already going to a home, but I do have another skein waiting....

The second pair is in the Grime colorway from Bugsnugger on BFL. This pair, I would say is a Small/Medium size. I love how silky and soft BFL yarn is! Grime is up for sale in my Etsy store.

I really should find the time to start organizing my labels here, so I won't have a million posts to edit later on and my 'business' pictures and files. I also need to fix up my collections of yarns and craft supplies. Ohhh, I wish I had a room dedicated to my yarn and crafts.

I'm A YARN HOARDER

I have been hoarding lots of YUMMY yarns for a while now. But I think it's about time I pulled them out and make a few things.

The third pic is of Ponies from Dashing Dach. I originally wanted to make Rachel a sweater for the Spring, but I never got around to knitting it.




The fourth pic is Inca from Conny of Happy Cheeks Diapers. I love the Colors, Bright and GN.

Custom NB Shorties

A customer contacted me for 2 pairs of NB shorties. I forgot how tiny they are compared to DD's humongo night time woolies.

The pair on the left is peruvian yarn from itty bitty knitties and the right pair is BFL Retro colorway from Happy Cheeks Diapers.

I really need to remember my username and password to get on here. I ALWAYS have such a difficult time loggin on here to blog.
We had some major T storms today. It knocked out all power at around 9am and didn't come back on until about 3:30pm. 6 hours with no tv, movies, radio, stove, or...EEEKKK!!! internet and computer!!! I had been up since 4am, so it gave me a chance to cat nap with Rachel. Logan was VERY WELL BEHAVED too. Normally, he'll be constantly asking me things or to help him. But today, he hung out playing all on his own. and even gave me a kiss and pulled the blanket up to cover me. Such a sweetie!
Oh, yeah, Logan's all done preschool for the summer, so yesterday, we took our jet ski (semi-ours) out onto the Lake. I helped Sean unload it, since it was the first time, then drove arounnd the lake to the other side to a small beachy area. I thought it would take a while to get there, but it really wasn't too bad. It'll be quicker coming from home. We met up with Sean there and he gave each of the kiddos a ride. He said Rach LOVED it and all the splashing water. Logan kept telling Daddy it's too fast and to slow down. But, I think he still enjoyed it. After that, Sean took the jet ski to explore the rest of the lake while the kids and I hung out at the little beach. We had fun splashing in the water. Man, Rachel is a wild one! I wish I had the camera. Next time, I'll make sure I have it, now that I know where it is. I hope it doesn't get very crowded there once the public school lets out.
